About SFdS Flames FC
SFdS Flames FC was formed to bring together youth, teens, and adults from our parish and broader community in a spirit of fellowship, friendly competition, and shared faith. More than just a soccer team, Flames FC is an opportunity to grow in community, character, and connection — both on and off the field.
This initiative also serves as an ecumenical bridge, welcoming players of all backgrounds to engage in joyful sport while experiencing the hospitality and vibrancy of our parish family. Whether you're lacing up your cleats or cheering from the sidelines, there’s a place for everyone to be part of something meaningful.

Still going strong—year two! St. Francis de Sales is officially back on the pitch with our competitive adult soccer team, once again taking part in the BCCSL. The Flames are battling it out (always charitably 😉), building fellowship on and off the field. Come out, bring your voice, and cheer on our team!

Please join our SFDS Soccer Team and your friends from the parish on Saturday June 21 at 6:30pm, for an “All You Can Eat Pasta Night.” Tickets are $40 per person and all fundraising proceeds will help support our soccer team and our parish. The team will be actively involved as volunteers that evening, helping with setup, food service, and cleanup.

YEAH, that's right. You guessed it, brothers and sisters. St. Francis de Sales now, officially, has a competitive adult soccer team battling it out (charitably, of course) in the BCCSL. Please feel free to come out to our games to cheer on the flames.
And if you would like to learn more and - perhaps - know of any soccer phenoms in our parish who'd like to try out for a spot on the team, please let us know.

Dust off the cleats, stretch out the hamstrings, and bring your 'A' game, brothers and sisters!
At present, we're gearing up for the 2025 Christian Soccer League Season by adding an SFDS co-ed team to the league. To be sure... we will be assembling a competitive squad, high-level skill will be warmly welcomed, and we're looking for a good balance of youthful exuberance and veteran savvy.
Our brothers-in-Christ, Mr. Franco Caligiuri and Fr. Médard Kamanzi are spearheading this effort and we want to know if YOU (and / or a loved one) has what it takes to be a part of this inaugural team and... eventually... elevate us to championship status.
