Announcing our third annual St. Francis de Sales School and Parish Community Fair – May 30th from 10 am – 2 pm
Once again, there will be pony rides, cotton candy, our famous BBQ featuring Falcone sausages. We are planning a variety of midway games and prizes, including craft tables and baking. We are happy to have the support of our own Vancouver Police officer, Mounted Police and Burnaby Fire Fighters again this year. BBQ Kick Off To Summer!
Youth Ministry would like to invite all junior youth, in grades 6 & 7 to our annual BBQ on Friday, June 12th from 6:30 – 9:00 pm. Come enjoy the beginning of summer! There will be ice breakers, a scavenger hunt, relay games, and bbq (hot dogs and/or burgers), snacks and dessert. If you’re 19+ and wanting to help or chaperone, please call Mylene at the parish office. Those that aren’t already involved as chaperones through either the school or church will be interviewed.
Project Advance
Our total pledges to date are $105,440. Thank you to everyone who has participated so far. Out of 1800 registered families in our parish 376 have given gifts. Please participate if you are able.

Please join us for the K of C famous pancake breakfast this weekend, May 24th after the 9 am & 11 am Masses. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Project Advance
After two weeks of collecting pledges at the entrance of the church we have raised $95,000. The Archdiocesan Goal for our parish is $60,000 and our parish goal is $160,000. Out of 1800 families in our parish, we have received 315 gifts. Please, if you are able, give what you can to further our plan to renovate our kitchen and improve access to our church hall. Clearly marked donations can be put in the Sunday collection basket or droped off at the parish office. 100% of the money collected after we reach our diocesan goal comes back to our parish.
Youth Night
Jr. Youth Night Friday, May 22nd 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the Church Hall. All grades 6 & 7’s are invited to Jr. Youth night in the church hall for fellowship, snacks, ice breakers and fun.

This is our 2nd official weekend for Project Advance. Volunteers are available to receive pledges at the entrance of the church. The Archdiocesan Goal for our parish is $60,000 and our parish goal is $160,000. We have received $50,610, which is a good start, however out of 1800 families in our parish only 192 have donated. Please, if you are able, give what you can to further our plan to renovate our kitchen and improve access to our church hall. 100% of the money collected after we reach our diocesan goal comes back to our parish.

Volunteers are available to receive pledges at the entrance of the church this weekend and next. The Archdiocesan Goal for our parish is $60,000 and our parish goal is $160,000. We have already received $11, 000 which is a good start, Please, if you are able, give what you can to further our plan to renovate our kitchen and improve access to our church hall.
May Crowning
Tuesday, May 5th at 7:00 pm. All parishioners are invited to participate in our May Crowning. We will gather in the parking lot, weather permitting and process into the church, bringing flowers for Mary’s Altar.
Confirmation
Congratulations to our Confirmation Candidates! Thursday, May 7th at 7:00 pm Archbishop Michael Miller will confer the Sacrament of Confirmation. Everyone is invited to attend. Please keep them in your prayers.
Easter Egg Hunt & Open Gym
Jr. Youth in grades 6 and 7 are invited to our first Easter Egg Hunt. To be held on Friday, May 8th. Please meet us in the school gym at 6:00 pm. After our egg hunt we’ll be having Open Gym until 8:30 pm. There will be snacks and drinks. Please bring a tooney donation for the snacks.
